Uso de preparados culinários como coadjuvante en el tratamiento y prevención de la depresión y la ansiedad

Resumen

Considerando el aumento exponencial de los trastornos depresivos y de ansiedad en las últimas décadas, es posible investigar el impacto de una nutrición adecuada como una estrategia prometedora en la prevención y el tratamiento de la ansiedad y la depresión. Al comprender la interconexión entre alimentación, salud mental y bienestar emocional, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo explorar la relación entre los patrones alimentarios, nutrientes específicos y síntomas de ansiedad y depresión, dilucidando el papel de los nutricionistas en el cambio de hábitos alimentarios y la prescripción de una dieta adecuada. . Por tanto, este es un experimento para comprender las percepciones y prácticas alimentarias de personas diagnosticadas con ansiedad y depresión. Se seleccionaron preparados alimenticios que tuvieran como ingredientes principales alimentos ricos en nutrientes y/o sustancias precursoras de hormonas que actúan en la regulación del estado de ánimo. También fueron seleccionados artículos experimentales y transversales publicados entre 2010 y 2024, en portugués e inglés, que relacionan el uso de nutrientes y sustancias alimentarias específicas y la mitigación de los síntomas depresivos y de ansiedad en las plataformas Scielo; 'EBSCO anfitrión'; 'CAPES' y 'Publicaciones UniCEUB' utilizando los descriptores 'depresión', 'depresión' 'ansiedad', 'ansiedad', 'disbiosis intestinal', 'disbiosis', 'eje intestino cerebro', 'nutrientes', 'nutrientes', asociados con los operadores booleanos AND y OR. Del resultado se observó la importancia de una nutrición adecuada para la buena comunicación del eje intestino-cerebro, así como el aporte del profesional nutricionista a este tipo de tratamiento. Relacionan el efecto de micronutrientes como vitamina B, calcio y magnesio sobre la síntesis de hormonas psicoactivas y su efecto sobre el bienestar físico y mental.
