El impacto en la adhesión al tratamiento y en la relación médico-paciente en las consultas de telemonitoreo: Revisión integradora

Resumen

Objetivo: Identificar, en la literatura científica, los límites y las posibilidades de las consultas de telemonitorización en la relación médico-paciente y sus impactos en la adherencia al tratamiento en las consultas médicas realizadas a través de sistemas de telemedicina. Métodos: Se trata de una revisión bibliográfica integradora, que incluye artículos publicados entre 2014 y 2022 en los idiomas portugués, inglés y español, con disponibilidad de texto completo. La investigación bibliográfica se llevó a cabo en las bases de datos Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) y PubMed (MEDLINE), utilizando los Descriptores en Ciencias de la Salud (DeCs): Adherencia al tratamiento, Relación médico-paciente y Telemonitorización, con combinaciones utilizando el operador booleano "Y". Resultados: 36 artículos cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, de los cuales 22 estaban relacionados con los beneficios encontrados en las consultas de telemonitorización y 18 presentaron dificultades encontradas en este mismo modo de consulta. Conclusión: La telemedicina está ganando cada vez más prominencia en la relación médico-paciente, ofreciendo beneficios para ambas partes. Sin embargo, existen obstáculos que deben superarse con el objetivo principal de aumentar la adherencia al tratamiento.
