Analise dos desfechos da gestação em mulheres com Diabetes Mellitus tipo 1 diagnosticadas antes da gravidez: uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

A Diabetes mellitus tipo 1 acomete homens e mulheres em diversas faixas etárias ao redor do mundo. Essa condição gera uma preocupação especial quando associada à gestação já que tende a causar diversas complicações para mãe e feto durante a gravidez, o momento do parto e após o nascimento. Esse artigo visa estudar o desfecho de gravidezes em mulheres com diabetes tipo 1 através de uma revisão sistemática. Foi feita uma revisão sistemática de estudos observacionais que se referem a gravidez em diabéticas, diabetes tipo 1 e complicações materno-fetais com base em artigos das bases de dados PubMed e Bireme. Foram extraídos dados dos 19 artigos incluídos. Os dados observados que mais chamaram atenção estavam relacionados à ocorrência de pré-eclâmpsia e/ou parto pré-termo e ao nascimento de fetos grandes para a idade gestacional. Observações similares foram feitas para outros itens importantes (por exemplo, Apgar, peso do recém-nascido, tratamento para diabetes). Concluiu-se, então que um ideal controle glicêmico é essencial e eficaz para evitar a ocorrência de desfechos desfavoráveis de uma gestação.
