As principais técnicas da escultura e preenchimento labial em harmonização orofacial

Resumo

Os lábios são o ponto de atenção do terço inferior da face, além disso, são capazes de transmitir beleza e sensualidade. Mesmo com o grande impacto visual na face, os lábios estão vulneráveis ao processo de envelhecimento, o que torna necessário alternativas para contornar a perda de volume e as rugas periorais. Com isso, existem diversas técnicas de preenchimento e escultura labial. O objetivo desse artigo é descrever as principais técnicas de escultura e preenchimento labial, analisando os riscos e complicações envolvidas. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, e foram pesquisados artigos dos últimos sete anos, relacionados ao assunto nas bases de dados PubMed, LILACS, Scielo e Scopus com as palavras-chave: “preenchimento labial”, “escultura labial e nos termos de busca em inglês: “lip filler”, “hyaluronic acid”, “technique”. Foram selecionados 21 artigos a partir das buscas e com a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Dentre as técnicas, destacam-se as de punção em série, técnica em bolus, técnica de rosqueamento linear anterógrado e retrógrado, técnica anterógrada e técnica retrógrada, técnica de túnel ou tunelamento e técnica de injeção linear. É importante que o cirurgião-dentista esteja ciente de como executar corretamente uma técnica e sua finalidade, para que possa entender e evitar os riscos e os insucessos do procedimento.
