Avaliação das manifestações dermatológicas em pacientes com doença renal crônica em um serviço de hemodiálise no Distrito Federal

A doença renal crônica (DRC) é definida por perda progressiva e irreversível no número e na função dos néfrons por mais de 3 meses. Sabe-se que 82% dos pacientes com DRC em hemodiálise manifestam pelo menos uma alteração cutâneo-mucosa, podendo gerar um impacto negativo na sua qualidade de vida. O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer o perfil clínico e epidemiológico da população renal crônica em um serviço de hemodiálise no Distrito Federal e avaliar a prevalência das principais manifestações dermatológicas desses pacientes. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, retrospectivo, do tipo série de casos, com base na análise de prontuários, entrevistas e exames físicos no período de agosto de 2019 a janeiro de 2020. Foram incluídos 46 pacientes, sendo 52% do sexo feminino, com faixa etária predominante entre 40 e 50 anos. Todos os pacientes analisados apresentaram alguma manifestação dermatológica, com foco nas alterações ungueais (89,6%), xerose (83,3%) e alterações nas mucosas (77,1%). O estudo do perfil clínico e epidemiológico e das alterações cutâneo-mucosas nesses pacientes é crucial para o diagnóstico e a intervenção precoces.
