Infecção relacionada à Assistência à Saúde e os enfrentamentos de enfermeiras para as medidas de controle: Revisão integrativa

Resumo

Objetivo: identificar na literatura as dificuldades encontradas por enfermeiras e averiguar as estratégias de enfrentamento quanto às medidas de controle das Infecções Relacionadas à Assistência à Saúde. Método: revisão integrativa da literatura, através de artigos disponíveis nas bases - Public MEDLINE, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Base de Dados de Enfermagem, Scopus, Scientific Electronic Library Online, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature e Web of Science escritos na língua portuguesa, espanhola e inglesa, que estivessem na íntegra, publicados entre o período de 2015 a 2020. Foram excluídas publicações do tipo resenha, resumos de congressos, anais, editoriais, cartas e notícias repetidas, estudos de revisão, além de pesquisas não disponíveis na íntegra e gratuitamente ou que não respondessem à questão de pesquisa delineada. Resultado: foram encontrados 25 artigos de várias partes do mundo. Os dados foram organizados em um quadro que permite observar o código do estudo, país de origem, autores, ano de publicação e resultados categorizados. Conclusão: a realidade quanto ao controle das infecções é complexa devido à falta de adesão, envolvimento efetivo na cultura de segurança e prevenção de infecções. A capacitação, treinamento, frequência, sensibilização e a prática de intervenções educacionais diversificadas podem impactar positivamente nas medidas de controle das infecções.
