Avaliação do micro infiltração cervical por Enterococcus faecalis em dentes tratados endodonticamente selados com resinas compostas

Resumo

Avaliar o selamento cervical das resinas compostas FBF (Filtek bulk fill,), BF (Beautifil flow), YF (Yflow SA) associadas a um sistema adesivo universal, em dentes tratados endodonticamente. Materiais e Métodos: As amostras utilizadas na análise de microinfiltração bacteriana foram auto clavadas, preenchidas dentro de uma câmara de fluxo laminar e divididas em 3 grupos experimentais (n =5) e (n=8) de acordo com o material restaurador: Filtek Bulk Fill Flow, Beautiful Flow e Yflow SA, control positivo (n=3), controle negativo (n=3). As amostras foram inoculadas com o E. faecalis, a cada 7 dias e a microinfiltração foi avaliada diariamente por 60 dias. Os dados foram submetidos aos testes estatísticos, com nível de significância de 0,05. Resultados: 12,5% dos espécimes de FBF apresentaram microinfiltração bacteriana a partir do trigésimo dia, já YF e BF apresentaram o maior percentual microinfiltração aos 30 e 50 dias respectivamente. A BF apresentou maior percentual de microinfiltração aos 50 dias concluindo os 60 dias com 40% das espécies viáveis. O teste de Log Rank não revelou diferença significativa entre as curvas de sobrevivência. Conclusão: As resinas FBF, BF e YF foram incapazes de promover um selamento hermético das obturações do sistema de canais radiculares.
