Ontological memory and spontaneous memory: convergences and confrontations

Abstract

This article aims to question the relationship between the phenomena of immediate perception and those of mediate perception, which are more centered on memory and the past. If we make the hypothesis of spontaneous memory dependent on ontological memory, our object of study relates to the successions and qualities of psychic facts. To study this object, the initial reflection, on the proponents of the normal use of language in the Chomskian axis, aroused our curiosity about the problem of the qualities of each successive psychic fact. To retain that the mode of explanatory scientific reasoning is relevant by necessarily having to be supported by the experience of internal perception, our theoretical-methodological considerations are in this sense those of Bergson (1889; 1965; 1968) on duration and of Brentano (2008; 2017) on internal perception. The results of this research will contribute to the discovery of rules that relate, in the utterance, the syntactic structures with the representations of signified.

Doutorando em Memória: Linguagem e sociedade na Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia e com bolsa da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES); 2) Mestrado em Linguística Aplicada na Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados e com bolsa da CAPES. Dia, mês e ano de conclusão: 25 de março de 2019. 2) Título de Licenciatura em Letras português/inglês na Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados. Mês e ano concluído: fevereiro de 2017. 3) Professor de língua francesa no Brasil com 5 anos de experiência: 2 anos como bolsista na Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados (2017-2018) e 3 anos contratado na escola de idiomas YAZIGI (2014-2016). I have a doctorate (2006) and a master’s degree (2004) in Linguistics from the University of Campinas (Unicamp). I graduated in Language from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE; 2002) and I was a Scientific Initiation Researcher at CNPq for most of my undergraduation period,  except for the first year. Currently, I am a full professor at the State University of Southwest Bahia ( UESB) and professor-researcher of the permanent staff of the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics and also of the Postgraduate Program in Memory: Language and Society, in the latter I was also coordinator of the 2017 quadrennium. -2020. I develop researches on Discourse Analysis (DA), dedicating myself, predominantly,  to the theme of religious discourse in its relationship with other discourses, such as scientific, political and media. My purpose is to analyze, from the DA point of view, how the interactions  of meanings among those different  discourses are constructed and what  effects are on the basis of these relations, as well as the effects that they make emerge on the discursive materialities crossed by such relations. I work as a professor-researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Memory: language and society since 2010, and in the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics, since 2011. I develop projects related to my area of ​​expertise and supervise undergraduated  as well as master and Phd. students.
