Permanent health education: vital strategy for safe practices

The aim of this study is to reflect on the National Policy for Permanent Education in Health and its relationship with the National Patient Safety Policy based on the construct of the philosophical theoretical framework. It is a qualitative study of a reflective and philosophical nature on the policy of continuing education and safe practices in health, from the perspective of Emerson Merhy. The object of study was built from the work process aligned with the Permanent Health Education Policy that allows to produce a fertile ground of possibilities. This being a way to bring to the discussion of a collective of work the various ways of ensuring safe practices in health services. It is important that the worker can question his practice promoting significant learning, expanding his autonomy and leading safer care processes for himself or for others. The Patient Safety Policy instigates a culture change in healthcare organizations. An educational approach in order to discuss safe processes based on the Permanent Health Education Policy mobilizes care production scenarios.
