Educational policies have been the subject of constant studies and investigations for a long time, however there are certain theoretical and methodological options that do not always favor different contexts that produce and mobilize educational policies, such as teachers and students in different school institutions. And this view is privileged by Ball, Maguirre and Braun in the book Como as escolas fazem políticas (How Schools Make Policies), with a rich analysis and sustained in the post-structuralist perspective, advances beyond criticisms that focus on centralizing, state and fixed processes, demonstrating that there are different subjects who act them out and translate them into different school contexts, showing not only the force / power relationships of behavioral policies, but also, identifying the clashes and the influence of policy artifacts and microtechnologies in secondary schools. Therefore, this paper aims to present the review of this work which has contributed with the research in the area of educational and curricular policies in different countries.
