La realidad de las trabajadoras sexuales en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19: Una revisión sistemática

Resumen

Este artículo es una revisión sistemática cuyo objetivo fue analizar los principales cambios de hábitos e impactos sociales de las trabajadoras sexuales en el contexto de la pandemia del COVID-19. Se revisaron los textos pertenecientes a Pubmed, Web of Science (todas las bases de datos), Embase, Scopus y Cochrane Library sin distinción de idioma o año de publicación, solo se analizaron artículos referidos a mujeres mayores de edad como su población. De los 89 documentos recuperados, 29 cumplieron con nuestros criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Del análisis cualitativo de los hallazgos, es posible identificar a las trabajadoras sexuales como una población en riesgo y que no fue debidamente atendida. De esta forma, es posible observar que la inclusión de las prostitutas en la planificación de las políticas públicas debe ser pensada para garantizar los derechos básicos de estas profesionales.
