Niveles séricos de vitamina D en niños y adolescentes con asma

Resumen

El objetivo de la revisión fue verificar los niveles séricos de vitamina D en niños y adolescentes con asma. El estudio es una revisión integradora, con 14 artículos seleccionados de las bases de datos PubMed, ScienceDirect y VHL de 2013 a 2017. Los estudios analizados revelaron que las personas con asma tienen principalmente deficiencia o insuficiencia en los niveles séricos. Los, niños y adolescentes con asma tenían niveles más bajos de vitamina D que los sujetos sanos. Por lo tanto, era evidente que la vitamina D en suero era menor entre los asmáticos, y los estudios mostraron una asociación significativa entre los niveles de vitamina D y la presencia de patologia.
