Intervenciones basadas en la alfabetización alimentaria: Revisión del alcance según los ingresos del país

Resumen

Esta revisión del alcance tiene como objetivo mapear los estudios de intervención en alfabetización alimentaria, de acuerdo con la clasificación económica del país de origen. Utilizando las pautas del Instituto Joanna Briggs (2020), se realizó una búsqueda de ocho bases de datos además de la literatura gris. El estudio involucró a audiencias adultas, publicaciones de varios países y en cualquier idioma. El proceso de selección y extracción de datos de los estudios fue realizado por investigadores independientes. Los criterios de inclusión se cumplieron en 20 estudios, publicados entre 2008 y 2020. La mayoría de las intervenciones se desarrollan en países de ingresos más altos, con dos publicaciones en países de ingresos medios y ninguna publicación en países de ingresos bajos. Esta revisión destacó la necesidad de discusiones sobre nomenclaturas y conceptos asociados con la alfabetización alimentaria, nutricional y científica, así como de discusiones sobre los mejores diseños para evaluar los resultados de la intervención, las prioridades de contenido y el mejor tiempo de intervención.
