La Teoría del Emprendimiento por el Desbordamiento del Conocimiento: debates actuales y caminos para futuras investigaciones sobre ecosistemas emprendedores e innovadores

La emergencia de la economía del conocimiento despierta la importancia de identificar elementos que favorezcan la superación de obstáculos relacionados a la capacidad de las regiones en generar y difundir el conocimiento comercialmente relevante. El objetivo de esta ponencia es examinar como la literatura utiliza la Teoría del Emprendimiento por el Desbordamiento del Conocimiento (KSTE) para discutir el enlace entre conocimiento tecnológico y el emprendimiento de base tecnológica. La KSTE ha sido elaborada en los últimos 10 años, y desde entonces, su difusión ha tenido lugar entre los investigadores de la comunidad científica mundial y está presente en distintos campos de investigación. Los resultados indican que la KSTE ha sido adoptada como base que explica la relación entre dos fenómenos, emprendimiento tecnológico y conocimiento, especialmente, desde los estudios publicados después de 2013. Es observado, todavía, que las investigaciones en este campo han crecido rápidamente, asociándolas a los ecosistemas emprendedores e innovadores. Este estudio presenta relevancia académica e innova al identificar los principales temas de la literatura a la luz de la Teoría del Emprendimiento por el Desbordamiento del Conocimiento, complementando investigaciones anteriores en el área e indicando nuevo camino de investigación.
