A Teoria do Empreendedorismo pelo Transbordamento de Conhecimento: debates atuais e direções para pesquisas futuras sobre ecossistemas empreendedores e inovadores

A emergência da economia do conhecimento desperta a relevância de identificar elementos que possam favorecer a superação de barreiras relacionadas à capacidade das regiões em gerar e difundir o conhecimento comercialmente relevante. O objetivo deste artigo é examinar como a literatura utiliza a Teoria do Empreendedorismo pelo Transbordamento de Conhecimento (KSTE) para discutir o enlace entre conhecimento tecnológico e o empreendedorismo de base tecnológica. A KSTE foi formulada nos últimos 10 anos, e desde então, a sua difusão tem se dado entre pesquisadores da comunidade científica mundial e está presente em diversos campos de pesquisa. Os resultados indicam que a KSTE vem sendo adotada como um fundamento que explica a relação entre dois fenômenos, empreendedorismo tecnológico e conhecimento, especialmente, a partir dos trabalhos publicados de 2013 em diante. Observa-se ainda que as pesquisas neste campo têm crescido rapidamente, associando-as aos ecossistemas empreendedores e inovadores. Este estudo tem relevância acadêmica e inova ao identificar os principais temas da literatura a luz da Teoria do Empreendedorismo pelo Transbordamento de Conhecimento, complementando pesquisas anteriores na área e indicando nova direção de pesquisa.
