Iniciativas para reducir el Burnout de enfermeros durante la pandemia de COVID-19: un protocolo de revisión del alcance

Resumen

Objetivo: mapear la evidencia disponible sobre las iniciativas implementadas para reducir la incidencia del Síndrome de Burnout entre los enfermeros que trabajaron en primera línea durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Método: protocolo de revisión del alcance siguiendo los pasos recomendados por el Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) y las recomendaciones de la lista de verificación Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR), en las siguientes bases de datos: Embase, CINAHL, Cochrane, LILACS, MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science y en la literatura gris. Los criterios de inclusión serán estudios primarios, sin restricciones de idioma y disponibles en su totalidad que respondan a la pregunta de investigación. En la etapa de selección, dos revisores realizarán este proceso con el apoyo del software Rayyan. En caso de discrepancias, se convocará a un tercer revisor para ayudar en la toma de decisiones. Los estudios incluidos se presentarán a través de una tabla de resumen y una discusión narrativa. Se espera que el protocolo genere el desarrollo de una revisión de alcance basada en juiciosos procedimientos metodológicos, produciendo resultados capaces de contribuir con estrategias efectivas para reducir el burnout en el área de enfermería, frente a los daños causados por la enfermedad a los profesionales afectados.
