Acogida de adolescentes con ideación e intentos suicidas

Este artículo es una revisión integrativa de la literatura que tiene como objetivo investigar las principales estrategias de prevención del suicidio entre jóvenes. La búsqueda se realizó en bases de datos electrónicas y se incluyeron estudios que abordaban estrategias de prevención del suicidio en diferentes poblaciones jóvenes, incluyendo LGBTQ+, indígenas y universitarios. El análisis de los resultados mostró que las principales estrategias incluyen la promoción de la salud mental, el acceso a servicios de salud mental sensibles a la diversidad, la creación de ambientes seguros e inclusivos, la colaboración entre los sistemas de salud y educación, el involucramiento de las familias y comunidades, el enfoque multidisciplinario y la promoción de la cultura y tradiciones indígenas. Las consideraciones finales destacan la importancia de abordajes personalizados, adaptados a las necesidades específicas de cada grupo, y de la realización de más estudios para perfeccionar las estrategias de prevención del suicidio entre jóvenes. Las tres palabras clave son: suicidio, prevención, jóvenes.
