Análisis de ácidos grasos insaturados y ácidos grasos saturados en la salud cardiovascular y perfil lipídico

Resumen

Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud, "las enfermedades cardiovasculares son la principal causa de muerte en el mundo, representando el 30% de las muertes globales". Estas muertes están relacionadas con la aterosclerosis, que es la acumulación de colesterol en la sangre, lo que conduce a la acumulación de grasa en las arterias y, en última instancia, a obstrucciones. Como resultado, muchas personas buscan tratamientos, incluidas estrategias nutricionales, para mejorar, o incluso prevenir, cambios indeseados en los niveles de lípidos en la sangre y marcadores inflamatorios. Por lo tanto, este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las diferencias en los impactos que los ácidos grasos saturados e insaturados pueden tener en la salud cardiovascular y en las pruebas hematológicas del perfil lipídico. A través de la lectura de artículos científicos y directrices de varios países, fue posible verificar que la sustitución de las grasas saturadas por los lípidos monoinsaturados y poliinsaturados promueve una disminución de los marcadores inflamatorios, mejora el tratamiento de las dislipidemias y, principalmente, reduce los riesgos cardiovasculares.
