Desarrollo de habilidades para la vida en adolescentes que practican deportes individuales

Resumen

Este estudio investigó el desarrollo de habilidades para la vida de 71 adolescentes que practican deportes individuales, con una edad media de 14.54 ± 1.27 años. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la Life Skills Scale for Sport (P-LSSS) y un cuestionario sociodemográfico. El análisis de los datos se realizó utilizando las pruebas de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, t independiente, MANOVA y correlación de Pearson (p <0.05). Los resultados mostraron que los profesionales con la mayor duración de la práctica tuvieron una puntuación más alta en las dimensiones de trabajo en equipo (p = .010), establecimiento de objetivos (p = .018), liderazgo (p = .026) y comunicación (p =. 006) en comparación con los profesionales con menos tiempo de práctica. Los practicantes de lucha tuvieron una puntuación de control de tiempo más baja (p = .029) en comparación con los practicantes de atletismo y natación. Hubo una correlación positiva entre el tiempo de práctica y el trabajo en equipo (r = .28), el establecimiento de objetivos (r = .29) y la comunicación (r = .32). Se concluyó que el tiempo de práctica está asociado con el desarrollo de habilidades para la vida en adolescentes.
