Desenvolvimento de habilidades para vida em adolescentes praticantes de esportes individuais

Resumo

Este estudo investigou o desenvolvimento das habilidades para vida de 71 adolescentes praticantes de esportes individuais, com média de idade de 14.54 ± 1.27 anos. Os instrumentos utilizados foram a Escala de Habilidades para a Vida para o Esporte (P-LSSS) e um questionário sociodemográfico. A análise de dados foi conduzida por meio dos testes de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, t independente, MANOVA e correlação de Pearson (p<0,05). Os resultados evidenciaram que os praticantes com maior tempo de prática apresentaram escore superior nas dimensões de trabalho em equipe (p=.010), estabelecimento de metas (p=.018), liderança (p=.026) e comunicação (p=.006) quando comparados aos praticantes com menor tempo de prática. Os praticantes de lutas apresentaram escore inferior de controle do tempo (p=.029) em comparação aos praticantes de atletismo e natação. Houve correlação positiva do tempo de prática com trabalho em equipe (r=.28), estabelecimento de metas (r=.29) e comunicação (r=.32). Concluiu-se que o tempo de prática está associado ao desenvolvimento das habilidades para vida em adolescentes.
