Avaliação do panorama dos trabalhos que utilizam índice-h ao longo da década de 2011 a 2020

Resumo

O índice-h foi apresentado pela comunidade científica para mensurar a contribuição dos pesquisadores quantitativamente. Dada sua ampla existência, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar o panorama dos trabalhos mais influentes que utilizam o índice-h em sua abordagem, publicados ao longo da década de 2011 a 2020. A metodologia proposta consistiu em uma seleção, no Scopus, destacando o autor com maior índice-h e, em seguida, selecionando o artigo mais citado na base, anualmente. Como resultados, foi possível observar alguns padrões nas publicações dos autores que se mantiveram relevantes, bem como o cunho de revistas na área de saúde. Como conclusões, destaca-se que os autores que se sobressaem ao longo dos anos não trabalham com o índice-h e, assim, as temáticas dos trabalhos destaque também não priorizam o índice, apenas o usam para aplicação em sua área de pesquisa.
