Efeito do treinamento concorrente na composição corporal e perfil metabólico de pessoas obesas: Uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

O estilo de vida variadamente ativo e as intervenções de exercício físico de cunho terapêuticas são considerados a base para o manejo da obesidade. O objetivo deste trabalho é, comparar diferentes sequências metodológicas de ensaios clínicos randomizados sobre treinamentos de endurance (TE) e força (TF) treinamento intervalado de alta intensidade (HIIT) e treinamento concorrente (TC) para melhorar a composição corporal e induzir respostas fisiológicas. Pesquisou-se nas bases de dados Web of Science, Pubmed, Science Direct, por trabalhos que estudaram os efeitos de diferentes sequências no treinamento concorrente sobre a composição corporal e adaptações fisiológicas de cunho metabólico, tendo sido usados o arranjo descritivo combinado e elaborado para a pesquisa: (“Obesity People” OR “Sedentary”) AND “body Composition” AND “Concurrent training” (“Endurance” OR “Force” OR “Sliming”). O intervalo temporal pesquisado nos bancos de dados foi 2017-2022. A qualidade dos estudos incluídos foi avaliada pela ferramenta de avaliação de risco Cochrane Handbook. Após uma busca criteriosa, selecionou-se, um total de 9 estudos randomizados e controlados. Os trabalhos consultados, relataram que, não houve diferença significativa na massa corporal, massa corporal magra e índice de massa corporal porcentagem entre os grupos de idosos; no entanto, houve uma diferença significativa no percentual de gordura corporal entre os dois grupos adultos jovens obesos e obesos sedentários de várias faixas etárias e sexo. Deste modo, conclui-se que que o TC é indicado e se faz mais uma estratégia bastante vantajosa, para intervenções que visem emagrecimento de indivíduos jovens obesos.
