Cuidados e desafios vivenciados pelos pais na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal: Revisão integrativa

Resumo

Objetivo: caracterizar quais os cuidados e desafios vivenciados pelos pais ao lidar com seu filho internado na UTIN, realizando o Método Canguru, em sua primeira etapa. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com buscas realizadas nas bases de dados: Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Science Direct, SCOPUS e Web of Science. Após critérios de elegibilidade, a amostra final foi constituída por 34 artigos, resultando em oito temas principais. Resultados: os temas encontrados foram: Sentimentos antagônicos; Aleitamento materno; Ambiente da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal; Relação com a equipe de saúde e participação no cuidado; Método Canguru; Redes de apoio; Papel materno x Papel paterno. Conclusão: percebeu-se a diversidade na abordagem sobre as vivências dos pais na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal. Houve unanimidade sobre a importância da vinculação precoce entre pais e filhos, necessitando de maior sensibilidade dos profissionais de saúde na inserção precoce entre ambos. Contribuições para a prática: a partir dos resultados foi possível a elaboração e validação do guia prático com vistas à auxiliar os pais durante a internação na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal.
