Tratamento all-on-four em implantodontia: conceito e atualizações

Introdução: a reabilitação através do tratamento “all-on-four” maximiza o uso do osso remanescente disponível em mandíbulas atróficas. Objetivos: analisar o conceito de tratamento “all-on-four” e suas atualizações, baseados nos tópicos cirúrgicos e protéticos. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma revisão de literatura através da busca por artigos científicos dos últimos 10 anos, na base de dados Pubmed. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente. Resultados: os estudos revelaram uma taxa de sobrevivência de 98,9%, angulações dos implantes variando entre 30 a 45 graus. Essa técnica possibilita a utilização máxima da estrutura óssea remanescente e evita procedimentos regenerativos ao paciente e é favorável em termos de qualidade de vida. Conclusão: o tratamento all-on-four em Implantodontia consiste em uma técnica inovadora e eficaz com previsibilidade, com alta taxa de sucesso em maxilares desdentados.
